The Fuqua Head Memorial Scholarship is awarded to two Robertson County High School seniors whose families have been affected by cancer. These scholarships, in the amount of $2,500 each, are made possible from the proceeds of the annual Fuqua Head Memorial Benefit Pull.
Two local seniors were chosen to receive the Fuqua-Head Memorial Scholarship, Faith Sneed and Kennedy Francis. The Fuqua-Head Memorial Scholarship is awarded to seniors whose families have been affected by cancer.
Scholarship recipient, Faith Sneed is a senior at Springfield High School. She is the daughter of Brad Sneed and Amanda Scarbrough. Faith has been a cheerleader for four years, being captain her senior year. She plans to attend Austin Peay State University and study to become a nurse.
Scholarship recipient, Kennedy Francis is a senior at Springfield High School and is the daughter of David and Jennifer Francis. Kennedy has been involved in the Arts and the Robertson County Players. She plans to attend the University of Tennessee Knoxville and also study to become a nurse.
Both of these recipients have been on the honor roll for four years at Springfield High School. These scholarships, in the amount of $2,500 each, are made possible from the proceeds of the Fuqua-Head Memorial Benefit Tractor Pull. We would like to thank each of our sponsors and the community for their support. Without the support from our attendees and sponsors, it would not be possible to provide scholarships to deserving seniors who's families have been affected by cancer.
We look forward to this year's tractor pull event scheduled for SEPTEMBER 2, 2023 and are dedicated in continuing to provide monetary support for cancer research and those persons directly affected by this disease.
