Just a reminder that The Fuqua-Head Memorial Pull Committee, after long discussion, has decided not to have a tractor pull in Springfield, Tennessee this year for 2024. The committee feels the memorial pull has outgrown the Robertson County Fairgrounds for the participants and spectators in regards to the concern of safety. Safety is the utmost concern to the committee. The fairgrounds, and existing neighbors are going through some changes and much needed parking and staging areas have been occupied and will not be available to be used during the pull. The memorial pull has grown to be one of the largest one-day events in Robertson County and it takes every inch of the grounds to provide a safe show for the spectators and the community. We are actively working on a new location for the pull in the future, so, we the committee can provide even greater and safer accommodations for you the fans. We appreciate all the past support and look forward to an even greater memorial pull in the coming years.
Please keep watching our website (pplsouthernnationals.com) and social media for updates and a future location for 2025. Thanks for your understanding and support!

Two local seniors were chosen to receive the 2024 Fuqua-Head Memorial Scholarship, Kaylee Paris and Emma Joyce.
Scholarship recipient, Kaylee Paris attended Greenbrier High School and plans to further her education in nursing.
Scholarship recipient, Emma Joyce attended East Robertson High School and plans to further her education in animal science.
These scholarships, in the amount of $2,500 each, are made possible from the proceeds of the Fuqua-Head Memorial Benefit Tractor Pull and is awarded to local seniors whose families have been affected by cancer. We would like to thank each of our sponsors and the community for their support. Without the support from our attendees and sponsors, it would not be possible to provide scholarships to deserving seniors who's families have been affected by cancer.
The Annual Fuqua-Head Memorial Benefit Pull was held September 2, 2023. The Memorial Benefit Pull was established to raise money to benefit cancer patients and cancer research in memory of Jay Fuqua and Don Head, two Robertson Countians who both lost their lives to this disease. Due to the generosity of our sponsors and volunteers, as well as all the attendees and participants, this year's event was a huge success which allowed the organization to make contributions to both St. Jude and Martha's Song. In addition, the successful event will make it possible to provide two $2,500 scholarships to deserving Robertson County seniors whose families have been affected by this disease. We look forward to next year's event and are dedicated in continuing to provide monetary support for cancer research and those persons directly affected by this disease. The Fuqua-Head Memorial Event is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.
The Mid-South Pulling Association held their 2023 Awards Banquet on November 11, 2023 at the Manchester-Coffee Co. Conference Center where the FUQUA HEAD MEMORIAL PULL was awarded "One Day Pull of the Year"
We would like to say thank you and express our sincere gratitude to all the attendees, sponsors, volunteers and participants for making the 2023 Fuqua Head Memorial Event a success!!
